DJ Dr Evil (Peter Byrne) @ Temple of Sound Limerick Reunion

Dr Evil played a wide selection of club classics on the night, here is his showcase.

Same as the other videos you can click the YouTube icon to watch in HD up to 1080p and you can also subscribe to the templesound channel for more future releases.

The track featured here is called ‘It Must Be Love’ a track I originally recorded in 1998 (one of my earliest)…this remix is the ‘Lovin’ It Remix’ for 1999. Now the thing is it must not have been love really as I can’t remember the girl who inspired this…I’ve a fair idea but not 100% sure – ah well 😉

Temple of Sound Limerick Reunion Night 2011 Pt 1 w/ Concy Ryan & Leanne Moore

Saturday 4th of June, 2011 @ Bentley’s Courtyard, Limerick City saw the return of The Temple of Sound for a reunion night 10 years after the last gig brought to you by XLR-Radio – the alternative for radio in Limerick. Line up on the night consisted of Peter Byrne, Pippy, Dawn Whispers (on her DJ debut!) & myself with a few surprise guests and VJ Visionary on the visuals. Lots of fun was had by all on the night and you can be sure there will be another one soon !

Surprise appearances on the night included ‘The Outlaw’ Concy Ryan & Leanne Moore.

This is part 1 of the madness 😀 Thanks to Darren Moloney for the camera work and editing. Elsewhere on this site soon you will be able to see the photography work by Tarmo Tulit from the night. Also have to thank Don McEnery for the graphic design.

Thanks to all who came down to support some classic dance music and it was great to meet up with old & new friends 🙂

The theme song to this video is ‘Do What You Like’ (Da Temple Mix) – a track I released in ’99 and a firm favourite for me to drop into my sets back in the day.

DJ’s Short Movie by Ray Fennelly

Here is a link to DJ’s the short movie which was written and directed by Ray Fennelly. Currently the movie is doing a run of the film festivals and getting a great response. I was happy to work on the soundtrack to this movie, with the song featured here ‘Mimi’s Song’ being the central theme song to the movie. Also in terms of this movie I did on location sound and supplied the editing rig for the final production. The movie was shot over 3 days during a very cold February in 2010 but it was good fun to work on. The subject matter of the short movie is something I’m very familiar with…the DJ lifestyle 🙂

Fintan Moloney presents – ‘Introducing…Heartbreak Blake’

I’ve just released my newest album which introduces my newest alter-ego ‘Heartbreak Blake’.  With this album I went across the board in Fidget / Glitch House with a little Hip Hop & Dubstep in there also.  Plenty of club bangers in there and as its Creative Commons Licensed feel free to edit, remix, mashup or do whatever you please with it 😀

The 11 track album ‘Introducing…Heartbreak Blake’ with album art in full 320kbps sound quality can be downloaded for free from here or streamed below:

I started work on this album early May 2010 and the last track was completed late April 2011, and released on May 1st, 2011.

The first single from the album ‘Welcome 2 Da Revolution’ and accompanying video was released on May 4th, 2011.

Bran Van 3000 – ‘Rock Star’ (Fintan’s F.C.B. Club Star Remix)

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJTG6NlBfLo]

Year of release – 2002

The original version of this is completely different and laid back but I think it also works equally well as a club track as the vocals work great for an uptempo club track.  The original was always one that would come out at 7am in the morning just as the daylight started to creep in and you knew the party was coming to a close 😉
