Year of release – 2001
Continuing my adventures in Drum N’ Bass next in 2001 I kept with the theme of sampling from movie soundtracks. This track samples the theme tune from the movie ‘Escape From New York’ which was composed by another favorite composer of mine, John Carpenter.
Not only is John Carpenter a fantastic director but he also composes the movie scores for his own movies. I was always a big fan of this movie and the soundtrack so the themet tune was sampled here and mixed in with some beats and bass.
